About Me

pic-of-self-2I’m an estate planning/tax attorney obsessed with ashtanga yoga, fitness, nutrition & family.

Professionally, I am special counsel in the Private Client Services group at Proskauer Rose, LLP (www.proskauer.com). Helping protect your legacy!!  With a passion for helping individuals and families solve their most sensitive issues, I counsel affluent individuals and families in personal tax and estate planning. With over 12 years of experience, a post doctorate degree (LL.M) in tax law and the prestigious Accredited Estate Planner designation, I focus on structuring wealth to achieve client goals, including protecting against risk and minimizing taxes, over multiple generations.

Personally, I am a mom of 2 children, am 38 years old, and live in North Palm Beach. I grew up in Baltimore, Maryland and am an avid Baltimore professional sports fan, as well as a Gator fan. I found my passion for fitness in Nashville (www.innerstrength.com) and my passion for yoga in Orlando.

Yogini: I am a totally addicted, lover of ashtanga yoga. I practice everyday because I just can’t live without my practice. I found ashtanga yoga through a gym (and a phenomenal teacher – Krista Shirley – find her: @kristayogini and www.theyogashala.org) and from there have been dedicated to learning and growing as a yogini. In 2007, I traveled to Mysore, India to visit the Shri K. Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute and hope to return one day. For more information on anything ashtanga yoga please visit http://kpjayi.org/. Om Shanti!

The purpose of this blog is to share my opinions and provide helpful descriptions about estate and tax planning, and about practicing law. Nothing I write in this blog should be construed as legal advice. Also, I will be sharing my thoughts about my life as a mom, a corporate woman, a yogini, nutritional nut and just my unconditional love for ashtanga yoga and fitness.
