About Me

pic-of-self-2I’m a tax/estate planning attorney obsessed with ashtanga yoga, fitness, nutrition and family.

Professionally, I am a Partner in the Private Wealth Group at Ward Damon, PL (www.warddamon.com). Helping protect your legacy!!  From the simple will to the most sophisticated tax plan. With over 11 years of experience and a post doctorate degree (LL.M) in tax law, I specialize in counseling individuals and families in personal estate and tax planning matters. I focus on advising clients on structuring their wealth to minimize taxes, often over multiple generations.

Personally, I am 36 years old, live in North Palm Beach, FL and a mom of 2 children. I grew up in Baltimore, Maryland and am an avid Baltimore professional sports fan, as well as a Gator fan.

Yogini: I am a totally addicted, lover of ashtanga yoga. I practice everyday because I just can’t live without my practice. I found ashtanga yoga through a gym (and a phenomenal teacher – Krista Shirley – find her: @kristayogini and www.theyogashala.org) and from there have been dedicated to learning and growing as a yogini. In 2007, I traveled to Mysore, India to visit the Shri K. Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute and hope to return regularly. For more information on anything ashtanga yoga please visit http://kpjayi.org/. Om Shanti!

The purpose of this blog is to share my opinions and provide helpful descriptions about estate and tax planning, and about being a young attorney. Nothing I write in this blog should be construed as legal advice. Also, I will be sharing my thoughts about my life as a mom, a corporate woman, a yogini, and just my unconditional love for ashtanga yoga.
